In the department there is a group of people including teachers and students both who work for the welfare of students as well as for organising various academic, sports, cultural events in the department. This group is called Society of Electronics Engineers (SEE). The society provides financial support to the poor students, honours the brilliant students by scholarships, provides fund to the students for participating in the various functions organised by the different institutes. It also motivates students for improving the overall personality by participating in various academic, sport and cultural functions. 

The society consists of a general secretary, one joint secretary,  from the whole department, and 5 class representatives, one from each class, and a student advisor. To guide and help these authorities a teacher is in charge as the treasurer of the society. These authorities are being selected by the students of the department by an annual selection procedure. 

The general secretary is student of B.Tech final year, joint secretary is student of M.Sc. final year student. The student advisor is from M.Tech.
