The final recruitment starts when the companies visit
the JK Institute campus. This stage of the recruitment
can be broken up broadly into 3 steps:
1. Pre-Placement Talk:
Over the years, Pre—Placement Talks (PPTs) have been the
standard forum for company- student interaction. PPTs
provide students with an opportunity to learn more about
the organization and meet the organizations members.
2. Written Tests/Group Discussions/Personal
Interviews
For the final selection of candidates, companies have
been conducting personal interviews. augmented by
written tests and group discussion for preliminary
selection. These interviews are used to gauge the
technical knowledge and other aspects of the candidates
and help the company in selecting the most appropriate
candidate for their organization and for the position
being offered.
3. Declaration of Results
After the conduction of the interviews, the companies
declare the results as soon as possible in order to
avoid the possibility of a candidate being selected for
multiple jobs.
These results are communicated to the student
community by the SPO through notices and mails or
available communication media .
The facilities provided to facilitate the visit are
lodging and boarding arrangements at the University
Guest house. Rooms for PPTs, Tests, Group-Discussions
and Individual Interviews, Audio-Visual facilities for
PPTs, etc.
