J.K. Institute welcomes the visit of company teams to
the campus for placement of our student. Such visits
have been found very rewarding by a number of private
and public sector companies who have been regularly
visiting the campus for this purpose. Besides placement
related activities, the team members also use this
opportunity to visit our various facilities and meet
faculty members in their offices or over informal
meetings.
‘The Students’ Placement Office will be pleased to
coordinate your campus visit with the following
assistance:
- Pre-visit liaison with students
- Display of company’s publicity material
- Announcement of the openings
- Collection of resumes from the students and forwarding
them to the company
- Delivery of the company’s communication to the
individual students
Visit related assistance:
- Lodging and boarding arrangements in the beautiful
well equipped guest house of University. (We request for
an advance intimation about your requirements.)
- Rooms for Pre-Placement Talks, Written tests, and/or
group-discussion, Individual interviews
- Audio-visual facilities for Pre Placement talk
Scheduling your campus visit: Graduating dates of our students are:
- B.Tech
: June
- M.Sc. [Comp. Science] [2yrs] : June
- M.Tech : June
- Ph.D. : Throughout the year
Placement Schedule: In order to avoid disturbance to the classes, the Pre
Placement Talk(PPT)for our UG students are arranged only
during late afternoons, or evenings. Therefore kindly
plan a two day visit to the campus. On late
afternoon/evening of the first day you may give a
Pre-Placement Talk and/or a Written Test which may
involve a large number of students. The individual
students’ interviews may be scheduled after the PPT
taking due consideration to our academic activities
during the day. You can schedule your visit over a
weekend under special circumstances.
Announcement of Results:
It will be in your interest to communicate the
appointment offers to the students as soon after the
interview as possible through the Placement Office. As a
policy, when a student receives an appointment offer,
he/she is not eligible to appear for any other
interview. ‘Therefore the sooner you communicate your
result the better. |
